Caitlyn lived most of her life in San Jose, California but also spent 5 years living in Tokyo, Japan. She is a sophomore at USC studying business and is interested in focusing on international business. For the past year, she has worked for a start up in the Silicon Valley as a marketing manager and Chief of Staff. In her free time, Caitlyn loves cooking, maintaining her food Instagram, and is currently training for her first half marathon.
Ransher is currently a sophomore studying Business Administration with a minor in Cinema Studies and Computer Science. This past summer he interned at Cross Creek Pictures, an independent financing studio, as a film intern. During his time there he analyzed prospective scripts and conducted market research. Ransher also has a strong background in tech, previously working on Alzhiemer’s research for the JWay Group, in San Jose, and iOS development for Snapfish, in San Francisco. In his free time Ransher enjoys traveling and meeting new people.
Born and raised in the heart of Silicon Valley, Juliet has spent the past few years doing internships in both Los Angeles and the Bay Area. This past summer, she worked for Gideon Strategic Partners as an intern running hypothetical portfolios for high net worth clients. She also worked as an intern at Marshall’s office of communication and marketing and was a research assistant to an accounting researcher. Prior to that, she interned in the Bay Area at a boutique consulting firm along with a non-profit dedicated to preserving heritage. In her spare time, Juliet is an avid equestrian and loves to travel.
Currently, Elyssia is a NASA JPL intern, Own It Co-Chair, Daily Trojan Staff Writer, and USC Dornsife Ambassador. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Elyssia has spent the last 3 years interning for NASA JPL, the LA County Board of Supervisors, AARP, Rotary and for a startup, TripVerse. Elyssia has multiple experiences in the media and entertainment industry as an anchor for USC Annenberg Media and Trojan Vision. She has also volunteered for organizations like the Teaching International Relations Program. Prior to that, she was an ambassador for the Tournament of Roses. One of her greatest loves is traveling; she considers Indonesia and Singapore her second homes and speaks three languages.
Julia is a sophomore from Dallas, TX majoring in Industrial Systems Engineering with minors in Spanish and Computer Digital Forensics. She is a Viterbi Freshman Academy Coach, and is involved in the Alternative Spring Break program. She hopes to work in environmental or information security consulting. In her free time, Julia enjoys running, traveling, and exploring the different cultures that thrive in Los Angeles.
Shivam, a Southern California native, was born in Anaheim and raised in the small city of Cerritos for his entire life. He is a freshman at USC majoring in Business Administration and has spent the past year and a half creating his own organization, Junior Associates United. During that time, he has interned for State Senator Tony Mendoza, worked on campaigns for local councilmen, and shadowed a broker at Century 21 Wise Ol' Owl. While in high school, he was involved in a plethora of organizations and sports such as Model UN, Future Business Leaders of America, and tennis, just to name a few. In his free time, Shivam likes to work out, read the news, explore new things to do, and spend time with friends.
Henry is a junior majoring in Business Administration and International Relations. A native of Los Angeles, this past summer Henry interned with Ares Management in their Risk Management division. Outside of UCC, Henry serves as the Treasurer for his fraternity and as a research assistant for the Security and Political Economy Lab analyzing military deployments in the South China Sea. His hobbies include sports blogging, investing, and traveling.
A business major and political science minor from Southern California, Lindsey has spent her college career spending time in industries about which she is passionate. Most recently, she spent her summer in London working as a Management Intern for Enterprise Rent-A-Car and will spend this semester working for the health start-up Bulletproof. With experience in industries from political campaigning to digital media, Lindsey has experience with both small teams and international corporations. In her free time, she enjoys attending events ranging from health technology conferences to SC football games, reading a good Michael Lewis novel, or listening to Freakanomics. She's on a quest to find the best tiramisu in Los Angeles.
Growing up spending time between the United States and Europe, Kim could not be more excited for the unique opportunity the World Bachelor in Business Program will provide. Throughout the next four years, she is a student of the University of Southern California, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and Bocconi University in Milan. This immersive experience will challenge Kim's perceptions of international business, building upon the business experience she has already had. After high school, Kim interned as a growth hacker at a local start-up in Boulder, Colorado called Alef Omega. In her spare time she is a true Colorado girl, enjoying hiking, camping, skiing, and kayaking. Kim is very proud to be a part of the Trojan Family and can't wait to expand that family to Asia and Europe in the next four years!
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Cobi spent this past summer back home interning at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Hawai`i Realty. On campus at USC, he is also involved with Marshall Business Network and Nikkei Student Union. In his spare time, Cobi enjoys testing out his Mom's recipes in his kitchen and adding to his extensive sock collection.
Nicholas Pietrow is a junior from Saratoga, California, who worked as a summer analyst for a real estate investment firm in Santa Monica. At USC, he is a member of Trojan Venture Partners and the Trojan Investing Society and has worked for the Marshall Center for Global Supply Chain Management. In his free time, Nicholas enjoys backpacking, listening to live music, playing basketball, and cooking for friends.
Jake is concurrently a junior in USC’s honors engineering program and a first year master’s student through USC’s
progressive degree program. He has lived in Chicago, IL and Waterloo, Belgium. Jake has previous experience in the
energy sector with a co-op at Ener-Core in Irvine, where he worked with gradual oxidizers to convert air pollution into
electricity. He is also a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Jake has shown his passion for giving back to the
community through building homes in Tijuana, conducting science experiments with the USC Science Outreach Program,
and tutoring through the Joint Educational Program. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, bicycling, exploring brunch
spots in LA, as well as going to museums.
Originally from Hyderabad, India, Harsha has been living in the Seychelles for the past few years. This past summer he interned in India at Arcesium, a post-trade technology and professional services firm, as a Corporate Intern. Outside of UCC, Harsha is also involved as a member of the Trojan Investing Society's Leaders Program and the USC Economics Association. In his spare time, he enjoys snorkeling, traveling and composing Oil Paintings.
Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Jason has spent 6 years total attending international school in Shanghai, China. He has spent the past few summers serving the city of Detroit through organizations such as Life Remodeled and DECA. At USC, Jason is involved with InterVarsity, and will be volunteering for JEP, teaching inner-city students about earthquakes. He is pursuing a potential career in either nonprofits, consulting, or marketing, but has yet to fully figure what he wants to do in life. In his free time, Jason loves to play basketball, volleyball, and fully immerse himself into everything LA has to offer. He has been around the world, especially throughout Asia, and is always looking for a cool opportunity to go abroad.
Born and raised in Israel to American parents, Yaniv commenced his undergraduate studies after gaining practical business experience in Los Angeles. That experience included being the COO of New-age Healthy Foods, Inc., a chain of Mediterranean health food restaurants and marketing for PEAK Corporate Network, a mortgage and loan firm. Prior to that, Yaniv served 3 years in Israel’s military as a commander in a Special Forces Unit. This past summer, he interned at Blue Marble LTD., a real estate development company operating in Las Vegas. When not studying or working, Yaniv plays guitar and soccer.
Yvonne is a sophomore double majoring in Applied Math and Economics. Originally from Shanghai, China, she moved to SoCal six years ago. In the past summer, she interned at Meiqiyong Industrial Commerce Company, a major partner with GE Lighting. She is also involved with Joint Education Program and Ballroom Dancing Team at USC. In her spare time, Yvonne loves cooking, exploring museums, and photography.
Linus is a junior majoring in business and minoring in mathematical finance and communication. Born in the East Bay area near San Francisco, Linus has spent the last two summers doing internships in Los Angeles and Asia. He interned at Grant Thornton this past summer as a business risk advisory intern and as a consulting intern in the consulting branch of a Shanghai international shipping and manufacturing firm the summer prior. He hopes to pursue a career in consulting after USC. In his spare time, Linus enjoys traveling, cooking, and all manners of outdoor sports.
Ricky is a sophomore from Chicago, Illinois majoring in Industrial and Systems Engineering and minoring in Management Consulting. This past summer, Ricky was the Operations Intern at Kids Science Labs, a science education company located in Northbrook, Illinois. This upcoming summer, Ricky will be an intern at Himes Consulting Group, a healthcare insurance consulting firm in Chicago, Illinois. At USC, Ricky is also the treasurer of the USC Men’s Ultimate Frisbee Team and a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. In his free time, Ricky enjoys going to EDM concerts, and watching the Chicago Cubs, Miami Heat, and Roger Federer.
